- Partial and Full denture
A partial denture is an artificial replacement of one, or several of the teeth. We can use an acrylic, metal, flexible or milled base for the restoration.
A full denture is a replacement of all of the teeth. We can use an acrylic, metal or milled base for the restoration.
- Flexible Partial Denture
The newer flexible removable partial dentures (RPDs) are being used more and more commonly for temporary, or on occasion permanent, replacement of missing teeth.
Instead of metal clasps, they have thin tooth coloured or clear finger-like extensions that fit or snap into natural concavities in the crowns of the teeth near the gum line.
- Telescopic Denture
A telescopic denture is secured by a minimum of two teeth which must be capped with either gold or ceramic material. The overdenture is then precisely constructed to fit over the caps for a tight fit.
